My idea is to create beautiful, well designed, affordable glass décor and jewellery to a high standard which I hope you will enjoy...
A background in fashion design, and wanting to capture the magic of the glittering colour of the catwalk, has led me to discover.....glass......

My inspiration draws from the colour, pattern and texture every day brings and involves many hours of glass preparation and kiln firings to achieve a single piece of modern fused glass. Each pattern is unique and will not be able to be reproduced a second time in exactly the same way...

Glass is endlessly fascinating and can be modeled using many different techniques. It is constantly challenging and takes a lot of trial and error to achieve each individual design.....but always fun...

All my items are lovingly handmade and the JHSglass shop is run by me. I photograph all my work, package everything and post each order. One of the things I enjoy most about the shop is imagining the pieces in their new home
